Hair Extensions for Damaged Hair
When this Houston hair extension client came into the salon, her hair had suffered from significant chemical damage and breakage, limiting how much we could safely lighten her natural strands. To create a radiant, dimensional look while protecting the integrity of her hair, we used a custom blend of extension shades. This approach allowed us to achieve a brighter, more cohesive overall tone without overly processing her fragile hair. All lightening that was done was performed using bond-infused, gentle Goldwell lighteners to ensure maximum hair health and integrity throughout the process.
We used 20” Bellami hair extensions to add both length and fullness, while strategically placing the color to seamlessly blend with her natural hair. The final result is a stunning, healthy-looking blend where you’d never guess where her hair ends and the hair extensions begin. To finish the style, we used Oribe Foundation Mist for softness and detangling, followed by the Alchemy Repair Serum to add nourishment, strength, and shine. This transformation is a perfect example of how thoughtful technique and high-performance products can deliver both beauty and protection.
Hair Extensions & Balayage for the win
Our stunning Houston hair extension client 22” Bellami Flex Weft in Vanilla Latte with blended balayage
Georgia 22” Bellami Hair Extensions - Vanilla Latte
This beauty need a touchup on her balayage and decided to take her look to new heights by adding a 22” Bellami Flex Weft in Vanilla Latte. Extension specialist, Peyton Cornelison, used the Waterfall installation method to insure long lasting and secure results. The Waterfall method is ideal for anyone who has experienced any kind of slippage with beaded weft extensions. Clients with fine or fragile hair especially love this method because of the security and stability that it offers. The method essentially creates a horizontal track on which the weft is sewn. The horizontal nature of the track virtually eliminates slippage and also keeps the corners from flipping up. Not only is the Waterfall method super reliable, it is incredibly long lasting. Most of our clients can go 6-8 weeks in between appointments. In this case, Peyton divided the flex weft into 2 1/2 rows to create luxurious fullness and length. #Flawless
